Bruce G. Dong, OD

Dr. Bruce Dong, graduate from number 1 ranked, University of California Berkeley School of Optometry 1974, brings to you Passion for: vision, quality of life, accuracy and precision. His father was born in China and came to America at age 9. Professionally, he was a well respected Pharmacist. Dr. Dong's mother, born in Canada was known for her cooking, baking and sewing skills, with bowling in a league as a hobby. Dr. Dong, is the first-born of two first-born parents and was instilled with the concepts of: value, responsibility, care-taking and setting a good example seriously but yet including humor along the way. His uncles enjoyed sports and so does Dr. Dong. He is a high level golfer, with not too shabby skills on the dance floor.

He was ready to retire but with new technology that can earlier detect diseases(that cause blindness), Dr. Dong says, "It's (protecting peoples' vision and quality of life) is too much fun, to retire now!"
