Our family have been going to Pacific Rims Optometry for years at the West Portal location. Dr. Selena Chan is personable, very knowledgeable and attentive as well as her partners. Dr. Chan points out potential issue before my Ophthalmologist does. Now that tells you the level of attentiveness & experience she has. All of their staff are friendly. Thomas who wears multiple hats in the front office is very knowledgeable when it comes to glasses, very insightful and makes great recommendations. I would recommend my friends & family to Pacific Rims Optometry.

4/27/23: Dr. Zeng was great! Attentive & thorough! The exam by her & her assistants was extensive. They have modern clean equipment. Their chandelier in the front office area is sparkly. The staff in the front were lovely & very helpful. They made sure I got the most out of my insurance coverage. I chose a brand new glasses 👓 design that just came in from Tom Ford, made in Italy 🇮🇹. Retro contemporary style. I was quite satisfied with my experience at Pacific Rims. I drove there, but I like how it's directly on a MUNI train 🚆 line with a stop right in front of the store. I love West Portal! ❤️

Amazing service and wonderful people working there. They perfectly fixed my vintage sunglasses that several other stores told me were “impossible” to fix, and were incredibly kind about it. Would recommend!

I write today because I had a scratched lens that's in my line of sight and bothers me. I called, Thomas ordered replacements, called me when they came in, then just now switched them out in just 2 minutes, throwing in a glasses adjustment and an extra nose piece for good measure. All at no cost. As always, he's wonderful.
In terms of optometry, Dr. Chan is great. Rock solid, good quick work, dependable and she has given me good advice that other eye doctors haven't. I highly recommend this place for adults and kids.
